The ADD Coach Academy is pleased to announce its ADHD coach training program has been approved and awarded accreditation by PAAC, the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches. PAAC is responsible for establishing and maintaining global standards of excellence for credentialing ADHD coaches and accrediting qualified ADHD coach training schools and programs.

With this third coveted designation, the ADD Coach Academy becomes the first and only comprehensive ADHD coach training program fully accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the governing body for the coaching profession, and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches, the governing body for the ADHD coaching profession

PAAC has developed rigorous training and testing criteria to establish credibility and confidence in the consistent quality of its certified ADHD coaches and has also established high standards of training excellence for accrediting those training organizations which meet their rigorous criteria.

David Giwerc, MCAC, MCC, Founder and President, ADD Coach Academy responded to the exciting news: “We are very proud and honored to be accredited by PAAC. This important accreditation puts the world on notice: The ADD Coach Academy is not only dedicated to creating and maintaining the highest standards of professional coach training, by virtue of its ICF  accreditation, but we are equally dedicated to training the best ADHD coaches on the globe.”

About 4 percent of the world’s 6.5 billion people have ADHD. What’s more, research shows that 85 percent of people with ADHD are undiagnosed. People with ADHD face a range of debilitating symptoms including an inability to focus, chronic hyperactivity, forgetfulness, and impulsiveness that can negatively affect life at home, at work, and in the community. One of the goals of ADHD coaching is to empower individuals to manage the unique challenges of their ADHD and maximize their strengths.

Giwerc added: “Clients in search of a quality ADHD coach now have the assurance that a coach trained by the ADD Coach Academy is grounded in the competencies, ethics, and standards of professional coaching as set forth by the International Coach Federation, and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches.”

Founded in 1998 by David Giwerc, the ADD Coach Academy has trained hundreds of ADHD coaches from more than 20 countries and is considered the gold standard in ADHD coach training.
