Curiosity is the precursor to Creativity
"Curiosity is the precursor to Creativity. When we discourage one, we kill the other." -David Giwerc, Founder and President, ADD Coach Academy, MCC, MCAC, BCC
There is no such thing as a stupid question. A question is a quest for clarity focused on discovering something you are curious about.
When the question you are curious about is squelched because someone judges it as inappropriate or stupid, your desire to have your curiosity satisfied is halted and so is your desire to do something different, creative or unique.
I often wonder what might happen if a person you asked the question responded with sincere answer to your curiosity?
Do you ask questions when you are curious or do you stop yourself by saying my question is stupid or inappropriate?
