Attendance
In order to provide you with the required training hours for certification, it is important that you are present at all class sessions.

Student Code of Conduct
We encourage you to act like coaches with integrity and participate as curious and open-minded adult learners. Our leaders are exceptionally well trained and dedicated to providing all of you the best knowledge, content, and insight regarding ADHD coaching. Just like all of us have unique brain wiring, so do our leaders, and their styles will differ accordingly. It is incumbent upon all of us to accept and embrace their styles of teaching.

Illness Policy
If you become ill after the start of the course, please refer to the Attendance Policy.
If you become ill before the start of a course, please refer to the Transfer Policy.

Grievance Policy
ADDCA seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to attempt to solve any grievances in a timely and fair manner. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding presentation or content or instructor/faculty behavior. All grievances will be addressed to the best of our ability to prevent further problems.

A process for filing grievances can be found below.

  1. First, address the concern directly with the source of the issue to try to resolve it in a timely fashion.
  2. If a student is reluctant to approach the source or is not satisfied with the outcome, then the student should submit a formal grievance in writing to ADDCA’s Director of Education by emailing Student Services. Please include the following details:
    • State the specific complaint and background.
    • Describe the outcome of the informal attempt to resolve it
    • Include any specific arguments or issues which the student wishes to convey
    • Include any written evidence, if relevant.

The Director of Education will review the grievance and work with all parties involved to resolve the issue. The student will be informed in writing of the outcome.

If no resolution can be determined by the Director of Education, then the grievance will be submitted to the ADDCA President for further review.

If the student does not feel the issue is resolved, then the student should send a written appeal to the ADDCA President at info@addca.com. This appeal should include the original complaint and reason(s) the student is unsatisfied with the resolution attempts. The ADDCA President will review the appeal and respond to the student. All appeal decisions are final.

Transfer of Credit Policy
ADDCA will accept partial credit from other organizations or programs.

If you have completed a Level 1 program at another organization, we will apply your completed credit hours to our Level 2 program.

You must provide documentation of your Level 1 completion, including the organization name, number of hours completed, completion certificate, and contact information for the organization or trainer. You may be asked for additional details or documentation on an as-needed basis. Please contact Student Services for more information.

Partial Completion Policy
At this time, the ADDCA is not able to offer credit for partial completion of a course. The course requirements must be met to receive credit. Individuals with questions about this policy are encouraged to contact Student Services.

Certification, Requirements, and Revocation
To ensure quality training, certification is at the sole discretion of ADDCA. Students will be required to pass minimum requirements within the allotted time frame. Payment of the fees does not guarantee certification. Students cannot apply for certification if they have an unpaid balance at ADDCA. ADDCA Certification may at any time be revoked if, in the opinion of the ADDCA, the Codes of Ethics set forth by the ICF and/or PAAC are not met.

Coach Directory
All ADDCA Basic & Advanced Certified Coaches (AACC, ACCG) receive a complimentary listing on ADDCA’s highly trafficked coach directory. ADDCA Coaches agree to uphold the Codes of Ethics set forth by the ICF and/or PAAC and fully honor the principles, ethics, and standards of the coaching profession.

ADDCA reserves the right to not include a coach in the directory for any reason. ADDCA also maintains the right to change the criteria for inclusion into the coach directory.
