Supporting a More Peaceful Journey

Andy Sims, M.Ed., AACC

ADHD Allies was created to support students, families, and adults who are struggling with the various effects our conditions can inflict on us. We often feel lost or ashamed as we struggle to adapt to environments that are not built for us. Those with ADHD are continually given the message they're less than by others, societal expectations, & our own inner dialogue. Through our individual, group, and community offerings, we are hoping to provide a more peaceful journey for all the wonderful ADHD souls and create Allies around us.

Client Testimonial

"Andy has been such an asset to our family. Having two neurodivergent ADHD boys with different types we have struggled to understand and approach each one differently with proactive solutions that work…Andy has helped clarify and give clear ideas, direction and support throughout our journey! Andy’s openness and vulnerability has also allowed our boys to feel super comfortable with him from day one!"

Through one-on-one and group coaching, support groups, workshop's and presentations, we are working to further the education and awareness of what ADHD is and how it can be supported.

On an individual level, we help facilitate the understanding of one's very personal & unique ADHD makeup & the impacts of their environments & relationships.

Together, we discover often-overlooked strengths, unearth toxic beliefs, and collaborate to create individual-specific strategies and tools. In working with families, we also identify the supporter's role in the journey and how best to provide that support.
