I have a completed MA degree in Social Science and was working in a similar field as a Social Worker. During that time, I developed good therapeutic relationships with clients.
In the last 20 years, I have worked as a research manager in a corporate world and relocated to the UK 10 years ago. In the UK, I have set up and run a family business where I gained further experience in management and entrepreneurship.
A couple of years ago I decided to return to my original path of setting up a private practice and continuing my academic growth as I had always planned. I always had an interest in psychology, especially in ADHD. I have joined an ADHD Coaching course in the US that qualifies me to provide support for people with ADHD. I extended my learning to cover other Neurodiverse conditions as well as teaching executive function, time management and organisation, emotional regulation and social skills.
In my private practice I am working with Neurodiverse individuals and couples. I am also mentoring parents and spouses to provide better support for their Neurodiverse loved ones.

"I have been taking sessions with Annette for 5 months now – and it has made a greatly positive change to my life. From the beginning I knew that I would need long term coaching in order to deal with my anxiety, which has been ongoing for several years. Annette was understanding of this and she has been extremely supportive and encouraging of my journey. The sessions have helped me to solve problems in my personal as well as professional aspects of life. I am now more positive and focused on my life goals. Annette is patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I am glad to receive a coaching service from someone whom I can trust."

My coaching style is based on a collaborative problem-solving process where you and I work together to identify and solve the problems you are currently experiencing. Sometimes this involves teaching you skills, especially those that do not come naturally or those you have trouble carrying out consistently.
I have a solid understanding of the different conditions that the Neurodiversity umbrella term covers, their strengths and weaknesses in particular. Some of the techniques I apply are used by both therapists and coaches. My coaching approach does not dive deep into how the past impacts your present; instead, I keep you focused on the present. Sessions are focused on accomplishments, which indicate some discovery of interpersonal experiences at the same time.
I deliver my sessions over zoom to make my service available for anyone who needs it at any location.
