Partnering with You to Successfully Navigate Life with ADHD

Catherine O’Kane, ACCG
Catherine O’Kane, ACCG

I believe that the key to success is *knowing yourself* better rather than trying to change yourself. It's okay to be you. You are more than your ADHD.  Let's go exploring together and find out all the ways in which you're smart, talented and capable. Then let's make the most of what's great about you so you can create more of what you want in your life.

I offer 1:1 and group coaching programs. Visit us at www.adhdpartners.coach to see what my clients are saying and find out more information about our services.

Client Testimonial

“This has been truly the best investment I've ever made in my mental health.  I have sought out help so many times for the problems I had with minimal progress. By the time I figured out I had ADHD and met Catherine, my life felt like it was a huge mess.

Catherine helped me understand how my brain worked and why I wasn’t coping, then she gently guided me through a process of self-discovery that landed me here. I feel so much better – I am now able to function, I can cope with distress and difficulties, I have systems in place to help me manage my ADHD symptoms.  I've learned to say no to non-essentials (by learning what they are!) and I've learned to say yes to the things that really matter. Most importantly I have learnt how to be myself.

I told her once I feel like I've been driving around in a car with the handbrake on my whole life and finally someone showed me how to take the handbrake off and now I know how that car is supposed to run.  If you are wondering if you should do coaching with Catherine, don’t hesitate, just do it. ”

I work with adults who are ready to start seeing themselves differently.

Are you tired of being focused on what’s wrong? On what needs to be 'better'?

Great! Let’s start talking about what works well, what you’ve done right, what your strengths are, and how you might be able to use an awareness about these things to your advantage.

I can work with you to:

  • help you understand what ADHD is, and how it uniquely affects the ADHDers in your life, whether that’s yourself, or someone else.
  • make the ADHD barriers and hurdles more visible, then help you figure out how to work around them, or work with them;
  • discover the joy of ‘being ok with being me’ and applying compassion to the experience of living with ADHD;
  • develop skills in communication and negotiation, so you can better advocate for the ADHDer(s) in your life,
  • re-engineer the environment in practical ways to make it work better for the way your brain processes information,
  • help you find and access quality information and resources you can trust,
  • clarify what’s most important to you and what you want to devote your time and energy to accomplishing,
  • develop strategies to help you reach specific goals or work through difficult situations.

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a Master’s in Advanced Human Resource Management, and an interest in the applications of polyvagal theory to calming and regulating our sensitive neurodivergent nervous systems.
