"My experience with Claire has been an absolute eye opener. She knows what she is doing and she does it with extreme professionalism, empathy and care. Her honesty and coaching style is what we all need. Before I met Claire, I completely forgot how to step out of my comfort zone and feel confident and was in a constant state of self-pity and lack of self worth. There are so many new ways I have learned to be better, like the real-time change in my growing confidence in public speaking and being able to analyse assumptions from facts. These sessions were just the start, it's a great start to achieve so much and I feel extremely grateful to be under Claire's guidance.
I found Claire was really responsive to my needs, and I never felt like I got a 'standard' response. When I identified things I needed to work on for me, she helped to find ways she could support me through the coaching without driving the direction I was taking. I looked for a diagnosis in my 30s because my lifelong coping mechanisms were not working for me anymore. By my 40s, learning to use a whole new set of tools to replace those unhealthy coping mechanisms was not going to happen in an afternoon, but I learned a lot over the 6 months I worked with Claire. I really liked the pace of progress we made - ADHD is such a rollercoaster that it's great to have a coach who can roll with a good week or a bad one, and still help you move forward.
This coaching has had a huge positive impact on my life. Claire's patience & understanding helped create a safe environment in which I was able to explore my ADHD self, leading to changes I hadn't foreseen. Understanding how I function, why difficulties arise in certain contexts, & that adapting my environment was necessary to thrive. Realizing I did not see the legends/wins. I was trying to be someone I am not by conforming to other people's & my own expectations. Understanding why a positive change occurred is not sufficient. Changes driven from within are meaningful, lasting, lead to serenity. Tools/techniques cannot change me. I had never talked to someone who understood my brain so well. I asked Claire to challenge me, and she did!"
