Tap into Greater Joy, Focus, and Resiliency

Emily Miller Mlcak, ACCG, PCC
Emily Miller Mlcak, ACCG, PCC

My focus in ADHD coaching is to support people as they learn to accept who they are, develop greater skills and focus, and become more joyous and resilient.  I work from a strength-based perspective, helping clients discover their values, remember their goodness, and use these strengths and values to develop new strategies for managing their lives.  I have training in Trauma theory, Internal Family Systems, and Positive Psychology.  I use these along with an understanding of neuroscience and Jungian archetypes to serve the unique needs of the client.

I work well with clients who are smart and curious, who want more from their lives.  My clients often think "If I'm so smart, why is this so hard?"  (Or, if I'm consulting with parents, they wonder how they can better support their incredible and yet challenging child.)

Client Testimonial

I am so grateful for the safe space you create for me to explore, be, wonder, vacillate, err, and play.

- Allison

Living with anxiety, depression and/or ADHD can create a perception of being unworthy. As a person who struggles with these things myself, I help others with ADHD - and those who love them - navigate life without shame, forging joyous and abundant life paths.

Together we can open doors to help you

practice transparency and honesty with yourself understand yourself more fully become more curious and open, and develop a practice of muscular joy and resiliency.

We will start where you are.

Some of my specialties are working with

1) people who find communicating challenging

2) young adults (college and just out of college) who are trying to forge their own identities as well as manage their ADHD

3) people with traumatic childhoods, who find that working with both a therapist and an ADHD coach allows them greater success

4) parents who want to better support their ADHD children

5) and intellectuals & creative thinkers, who want to bring their highest self in their work but find themselves bogged down with time management, negative thinking, and other ADHD issues
