Embrace Difference

At Divergent Potential, I partner with ADHD and Autistic professionals navigating the complex world of technology leadership. My journey mirrors many of my clients—I discovered my own autism and ADHD mid-executive career after years in software engineering and tech leadership roles.

I understand the daily challenges you face: the mental exhaustion from masking in meetings, the frustration when others miss your innovative ideas, and the struggle to manage your energy while meeting demanding deadlines. But I also recognize your unique strengths—your ability to see patterns others miss, your deep analytical thinking, and your capacity for creative problem-solving that drives innovation.

Through our work together, we'll create strategies that honor your neurological wiring rather than fight against it. I'll help you transform communication challenges into connection opportunities, harness your hyperfocus for strategic advantage, and build sustainable practices that support your wellbeing while advancing your career.

My approach blends technical understanding with deep human connection. Having personally navigated the path from individual contributor to executive leadership while learning to embrace my neurodivergent identity, I offer both practical guidance and genuine empathy. Whether you're seeking to advance as an ADHD product manager, thrive as an autistic tech leader, or create a more neuroinclusive workplace culture, we'll work together to align your professional growth with your authentic self.

The tech world needs your unique perspective, and my mission is to help you contribute your brilliance while feeling truly understood and valued.

Client Testimonial

"When I first considered coaching for my ADHD, I was in a desperate place. Life felt overwhelming, unfocused, and unsatisfying, and I honestly didn’t think coaching could help—I considered myself beyond repair.

From the very first session, though, Jason completely turned that around. Despite my negative and somewhat defensive mindset at the start, he handled our initial contact with such insight and understanding that, over time, I found myself respecting and trusting him.

Jason’s ability help me reframe my negative thought processes is remarkable. He listens deeply and offers feedback that is not only specific and relevant to my challenges but also transformative. This isn’t generic advice or off-the-shelf wisdom—it’s tailored and impactful. That level of personalisation, combined with Jason’s empathy and expertise, has set him apart from every other coach or therapist I’ve worked with.

Our sessions have had a profound effect on my life, my relationships, and my career. They’ve brought clarity, focus, and a renewed sense of hope. Jason’s genuine, open, and honest approach, combined with his shared understanding of working in tech and his ability to create a friendly, supportive environment, makes every session feel invaluable.

If you’re struggling with ADHD and feel stuck, Jason’s coaching can help you move toward the life you want. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a real, positive impact."

My approach to coaching neurodivergent tech professionals is shaped by my own transformation.

After years of swimming against the current—balancing family life and demanding leadership roles while unaware of my neurodivergence—my autism and ADHD diagnosis became a turning point that reframed my understanding of myself and my career.

Throughout my journey from software engineer to tech executive, I naturally gravitated toward solving complex problems and leading transformational initiatives. I thrived in environments where my pattern recognition and conceptual thinking were assets, but I also experienced the exhaustion of constantly adapting to neurotypical expectations. This firsthand experience informs how I work with clients today.

At Divergent Potential, I provide structured support for both neurodivergent individuals and organizations seeking to embrace neurodiversity. For ADHD and autistic professionals, my coaching focuses on your specific career stage—whether you're building foundational workplace skills, navigating technical roles, stepping into leadership positions, or pursuing entrepreneurship. Together, we'll develop neuro-informed strategies that honor your unique cognitive style while addressing practical workplace challenges.

For organizations, I offer guidance on creating truly neuroinclusive environments where diverse thinking drives innovation and engagement. This includes employee coaching, manager development, and comprehensive workplace transformations that foster equity and inclusive excellence.

My approach is fundamentally neuroaffirmative—I believe your neurodivergent mind isn't something to fix but rather a valuable perspective to embrace. Each coaching relationship is built on mutual respect, authenticity, and a shared commitment to discovering your unique path to success.

Whether you're facing immediate workplace challenges, looking to advance your long-term career trajectory, or seeking to create a more neuroinclusive organization, I'm here to help unlock divergent potential and foster environments where neurodivergent professionals can truly thrive as their authentic selves.
