Empower Yourself

As an adult and parent of two teenagers with ADHD, I am driven to help ADHDers overcome their executive function challenges and achieve their goals in life. When my sons were diagnosed, it made perfect sense that I shared their diagnosis – and that’s where my journey began.

There wasn’t a lot of awareness about ADHD when I was growing up, and I couldn’t understand why it was so challenging for me to motivate myself to get things done. My inability to start tasks, stay organized and focused caused me to feel bad about my abilities, and ultimately myself. Not wanting to see these patterns repeated with my sons, I embarked on a crusade to learn as much about ADHD as possible, and how to help.

I feel passionate about coaching because it has helped me make a huge transformation in my own life. I love partnering with clients to help them understand their unique brain-wiring, how to recognize patterns that have impeded progress in the past, and how to utilize their personal strengths to accomplish their goals. Gaining awareness of where they are now and what they want to achieve, allows us to create a customized plan for navigating forward. Each small step will empower clients with confidence as they move toward reaching their full potential.

Client Testimonial

"Julie is a wonderful coach! In our sessions, she created a safe space for me to freely explore my thoughts and feelings without the sense that her opinions or her agenda were being imposed upon me. Her neutrality (i.e., her unbiased attention), combined with her natural warmth created a safe canvas for me to work through my conflicted self-talk. As a person with ADHD, it's very hard for me to pinpoint the goals that are true for me because they vary so much. Julie's patience helped me see a clearer way forward.

I felt so understood. And motivated. After our sessions I walked around my home, elated with unblocked energy. I can't thank Julie enough!!"
