WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is a partnership focused on moving the client forward in life. The coach will not tell the client what to do, but will guide him to come to conclusions on their own. The client will determine the discussion topic for the meetings.

ADULT COACHING
It is often expected that adults with ADHD/ADD or other executive function challenges will "outgrow" struggles with attention, task completion, and organization and eventually just "manage." However, these challenges can continue and even intensify as responsibilities and demands increase in adulthood. A coaching partnership can help you discover your personal strengths and develop skills and strategies tailored for you to reach your goals.

COACHING CHILDREN AND TEENS
ADHD and executive function coaching begins with helping your child see their invisible strengths while teaching them how to use these gifts to overcome their visible & invisible challenges.  They learn to recognize and manage their executive function challenges, such as, attention, emotions, activity, impulsivity and social skills.  I work with the parent(s)/guardian/family in order to better understand the individual with ADHD or executive function challenges and develop a system of support for achieving the family's goals.

COACHING COLLEGE STUDENTS
The shift to college can be challenging when adjusting to a new environment with increased demands and without the structure that is often provided at home. It can be a lot to manage your own schedule, routine, and self-care on top of more demanding academic expectations.  Coaching can help you get started on the right foot or help you get back on track.

PARENT COACHING/CONSULTATION
Parenting is one of the greatest joys and responsibilities but at the same time one of the greatest challenges we can face. Parenting a child with ADHD amplifies that struggle. Just imagine adding to that the parent’s own executive function struggles!!  Working together, will help you become the parents you long to be.

You will learn to understand your child, your interactions with your child, how to support your child’s success and how to be there for your child in the best way possible!
