Hi, I'm Shelly Lyons! I am a certified ADHD and Life Coach, Leadership Coach, and proudly ADHD (late-identified). I partner as a coach with individuals and employers.
I work with brilliant and talented ADHDers and AuDHDers (Autistic and ADHD) from across every interest area, industry, level, and profession.
My coaching approach is strengths-based, nonjudgmental, action-oriented, and holistic. In addition to formal ADHD coach training, ICF coach certification, and lived experience as an ADHDer, I also have an extensive background in leadership coaching, neuroinclusion, HR, LGBTQ+, mindfulness, and athletics (women’s basketball at Brown University).
Through ADHD and AuDHD coaching, you learn about your unique neurotype, your strengths, and how to work and live in alignment with what makes you, YOU! You may also learn how to plan, prioritize, organize, manage your time and energy, deal with RSD, self-advocate, and more depending on your specific intentions for partnering with a coach.

“Shelly is a calm, thoughtful and effective coach. Within minutes, she was drawing insights and "aha" moments out of me. We worked together to identify top goals and create practical solutions I could immediately implement. After my first session, the changes I made led to smoother days where I felt less frazzled and more in control! I highly recommend!!!”
- ADHD Adult Client, Doctor and Medical Director
I support my individual coaching clients in achieving their intentions with more confidence and clarity, I also support employees at all levels, HR and managers through employer-sponsored coaching engagements.
I specialize in coaching ADHD and AuDHD adults from a strengths-based and holistic lens in all life areas: personal, professional, or academic.
Clients partner with me to:
- Make positive changes in their professional and personal lives
- Learn how to work with their awesome brain instead of against it
- Improve productivity, emotional regulation, well-being, and executive functioning skills
- Navigate an ADHD “diagnosis” with greater clarity, pride, resources, and skills
- Learn how to plan, organize, and prioritize to minimize stress and overwhelm
- Receive accountability support
- Manage leadership and career opportunities with confidence
Today, I love my career and my Neurodivergent brain but it wasn’t always this way and my path here hasn’t been easy so if you are struggling, I get it, I really do.
When you understand your neurotype from a strengths-based lens, you can better handle the challenging aspects and learn what “working with your brain” really means.
