Living with ADHD, or being the parent of a child with ADHD, can be a tough and lonely journey, with little support. Even once we learn why we always felt like “a square peg in a round hole” the next step of understanding ADHD and how to work with our brain and not against it, can be daunting.

As woman with ADHD and a proud mom of two well adjusted (now adult) children with ADHD I can help people understand the processes that many people go through with a diagnosis in adulthood and accepting a child or family members diagnosis. At a time where families require support, compassion and understanding, I can provide this in a safe space with no judgement.

Client Testimonial

“I have coaching with Tania every two weeks. I started so I could get help around building better study habits and work on my motivation. Our sessions help me create a better homework plan and cope with home learning throughout COVID. I feel less anxious about going into my last year of high school next year with the tools I now have.”

~SM (17yrs old)

With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a diploma in fitness, I’ve spent the last 14 years learning about the impact and importance of physical activity and the brain and coaching people for behavior change using various modalities. My sessions with younger school aged children often include some form of physical activity with games, and I include activities that can be done at home to help with attention and focus. In every coaching session I provide encouragement for those who are ready to work toward the results they’ve wished for.

My aim is to help you:

Better understand ADHD and how it shows up in your life, work on building executive function skills, including planning around study skills, homework, exams, housework etc.

Get “unstuck”.

Be a great advocate for yourself and/or your children’s needs at work and/or school.

Discover the best in yourself and/or your children.

See your/your children’s strengths.

Put aside judgement and negative self-talk.

Calm the chaos.

I coach face to face or via Zoom. If you would like help moving forward on your ADHD journey, or have any questions about coaching contact me at tania@vanguardcoaching.com.au
