Basic ADHD & Life Coach Training Certification Program Requirements

Basic (AACC) Certification Requirements:

The first designation a student can attain at ADDCA is the Basic (AACC) Certification. In order to apply for the Basic (AACC) Certification, trainees must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Attendance: 80% live attendance per module for all courses
  • Module Reviews: Achieve 80% or above per module for all courses
  • Coaching Skills Practicums (CSPs): Submit three (3) recorded ADHD coaching sessions
  • Project: Basic Project (client welcome packet)
  • Mentor Coaching: Minimum of ten (10) mentor coaching hours
  • Client Coaching: Minimum of fifty (50) client coaching hours

Once these requirements have been fulfileed, the trainee may request the Certification Application. Once signed, they will submit their Certification Recording. 

  • Certification Recording: Sumission of a full coaching session (45 minutes maximum)
  • Certification Assessment: An ADDCA Assessor will perform the Certification Assessment on the Certification Recording. This will determine of the trainee achieves certification at the ADDCA Basic (AACC) Certification level. All Certification Assessments are overseen and approved by ADDCA's Director of Training.

No-Fee Time Frame: The trainee complete the application process (including submission of the Certification Recording) within 1 year from the date of your last Basic Coaching Skills class. After that time, or for resubmissions, a fee is required.
