Brett Weggelaar, ACCG, PCAC, PCC

ADDCA Assessor

Western Australia, Australia

Brett was motivated to pursue coaching as a career so he could help others face and overcome challenges similar to those he himself has faced.

Prior to being late diagnosed in 2017, he had to find ways and workarounds to self-manage his symptoms  This trial and error approach to managing made life much more difficult than it needed to be.

Preferring not to limit his coaching to a specific niche within the ADHD community, Brett enjoys the variety that comes with coaching everyone. He finds huge joy and meaning in helping others launch forward and live the best lives they can. Brett is caring, passionate and enthusiastic in coaching adolescents, adults and families of all ages and genders and ethnicities in every area affected by ADHD or Executive Function Disorders.

That said, he does have special interests in ADHD relationship coaching, corporate/executive coaching, and study and performance coaching.

Mentor coaching is particularly fulfilling, and Brett loves working with new and experienced coaches in how to best partner to move their clients forward, find their niche, squash imposter syndrome, and thrive in their careers.

A life long learner, Brett is constantly studying anything he feels could assist him in best serving his clients. An interest in somatic experiencing and linguistics led him to also become an accredited Ontological Coach, and he had quickly seen the benefits this brings to his ADHD coaching.

In a previous life, Brett was a commercial boat skipper, mechanical engineer, and oil and gas process technician. In coaching he feels has finally found his calling.

He lives in Fremantle, Western Australia, with his wife, two children, dog and cat.
