ADDCA Leader, Assessor, & Mentor Coach
Family-Trained Leader
New York, United States
Combining her love of ADHD coaching and the science of positive psychology, Mira Weinfeld, MBA, ACCG. PCAC, PCC supports clients with ADHD to move towards thriving and flourishing. Before her work as a coach, Mira's diverse experience included careers in healthcare auditing and consulting, graphic design, marketing, and communication disorders. Her path then took a turn when partnering in an entrepreneurial venture. Charged with writing a business plan that described the ADHD landscape, including its professionals, Mira's research led her to ADDCA. There, she continued her exploration of ADHD and was introduced to character strengths, which led her to form a practice integrating ADHD coaching with applied positive psychology.
Using an ADHD and strength-based lens, Mira partners with her clients to:
- co-create strategies and utilize tools that leverage their unique brain wiring
- overcome executive function challenges and obstacles
- develop strengths awareness, explore past and future potential use of strengths, and take actions to build their strengths
- set meaningful goals aligned with their interests, values, and strengths
- develop healthy relationships with themselves by increasing self-acceptance and building self-compassion
- cultivate positive emotions, hope, optimism, resilience, engagement, flow, positive relationships, and a growth mindset
- increase their self-efficacy and agency
- integrate aspects of their whole being (spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational, and emotional elements) into their everyday lives
- strive towards their highest aspirations and ideal selves
- implement intentions to bridge the gap between where they are now and their desired future
While Mira supports a diverse range of clients, she particularly enjoys working with professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, and adults ranging in age from 18 to 70+. Applying her top strengths of curiosity, love of learning, creativity, humor, perspective, and appreciation of beauty and excellence, Mira's coaching style is dynamic, genuine, informed by research, and imbued with a touch of playfulness. Her favorite coaching moments happen when clients gain new awareness and have transformative "a-ha moments."
