ADDCA is proud to be approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) to offer both Level 1 and Level 2 accredited training programs. This dual accreditation confirms our commitment to excellence and provides a direct path for students seeking ICF certification at the ACC and PCC levels.

The International Coaching Federation’s approval reinforces what we’ve always stood for—offering ADHD coach training that meets the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and impact.

What This Means for Your Coaching Path

  • Our Basic ADHD & Life Coach Training Program now qualifies as an ICF Level 1 program
  • Our Advanced and Professional Advanced Certification Programs are both approved as ICF Level 2 programs

Together, these recognitions create a clear, supported path for students working toward ICF credentials at the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) and PCC (Professional Certified Coach) levels.

Understanding ICF Level 1 vs. Level 2

In simple terms:

  • Level 1 programs prepare you to become an ACC-certified coach, building a strong foundation in coaching competencies.
  • Level 2 programs offer more depth, preparing you for the PCC credential, with advanced training, mentor coaching, and performance evaluation.

Both levels align with the ICF’s global standards—but more importantly, they help you become the most confident, capable coach you can be.

Why It Matters for ADDCA Students

If you’re exploring a coaching path, this means:

  • You’re choosing training that’s aligned with the gold standard in the coaching profession
  • You’ll follow a clear, step-by-step pathway to international certification
  • You’re learning in a program that understands and supports neurodiverse learners through a strengths-based approach

We’ve designed every part of the ADDCA experience—from Simply ADHD to our advanced training—to support your development, your goals, and your confidence as a coach.

A Note of Appreciation

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible ADDCA faculty, whose excellence in teaching, mentoring, and assessing continues to elevate our programs.

We’re especially grateful to Barbara Luther, ADDCA’s Director of Training, and our entire staff for their commitment and persistence in meeting the high standards required for ICF accreditation.
